What you can find at SCRAP

The SCRAP retail store sells all kinds of reused materials for arts and crafts, plus school, office, and party supplies. We also offer some new items such as glue and brushes. SCRAP accepts donations of reused materials during all hours we are open, so our inventory changes constantly and you never know what you’re going to find!

Specific items you may find here include:

  • Yarn, fabric, and sewing notions
  • Paper of all colors and sizes
  • Items donated by local businesses and manufacturers
  • Colored pencils, markers, pens, and stamps
  • Greeting cards and gift wrap for every occasion
  • Wood, metal, and plastic in a variety of shapes and sizes
  • And more!

Why the prices are so low

With the help of your donations, we diverted 115 tons of usable materials from the waste stream in 2011. Because most of our inventory is donated by individuals and businesses, we can keep prices low—usually at about one-quarter of the retail cost. Every penny spent in the store goes back into supporting SCRAP’s mission.
